World Book Day Ideas

It’s important that children, from all backgrounds, develop a life-long habit of reading for pleasure and if all it takes to achieve this is for them to meet their life long hero then who are we to disagree? 

World Book Day was created in 1995, and has since gone on to be an event recognised and celebrated in over 100 countries around the world. it’s goal is to show that reading can be fun, relevant, accessible, exciting, and has the power to transform lives. 

So, we have compiled a handy list of our favourite World Book Day entertainers to serve as inspiration for your next event. 

World Book Day entertainers

This 1865 novel by Lewis Carroll (originally titled “Alice’s Adventures Under Ground”) is a story that only makes sense to children, although everyone loves to hear it! 

If you’re late for a very important date, then our Alice In Wonderland World Book Day entertainers might be the perfect option for you.
