Description
Watch as your guests are left utterly astounded by the ancient and deadly art of Sword Swallowing. Swallowing a 22 inch solid steel blade whilst remaining completely unharmed is just another day in the office for our Sword Swallowers. This act combines danger with comedy, delivering a show that keeps audiences hooked and wanting more.
Through years of careful and extensive training our Sword Swallowers have developed an extraordinary control over their body, which allows them to perform the highly specialised act of Sword Swallowing- passing a sword, or other foreign object, down the oesophagus and into the stomach.
Due to its dangerous and extremely difficult to learn nature Sword Swallowing is a dying art form and there are currently less than 60 Sword Swallowers performing world wide! Wishing that niche group even less are able to swallow multiple blades at the same time and only a handful are able to swallow a curved sword.
In a world with a population of 7 billion, this makes it one extremely unique act. This isn’t an act for the faint hearted but is an undeniable classic and one that everyone should enjoy live at least once in a lifetime!
Please Note – due to the highly dangerous aspect of this act Sword Swallowing is not suitable for walkabout performance and we recommend Sword Swallowing should only be performed in a designated performance area such as a stage. If you want pop-up shows around the venue rather than one performance on a central stage this can be arranged on request, however to generate the highest impact we recommend this performance takes place on a stage.
