Chinese Dragon performers

The Chinese Dragon, also known as the ‘loong’, is a legendary creature in Chinese mythology, folklore and culture.

Our Chinese Dragons are typically made of silk or other lightweight materials, and are carried by a team of performers who animate the dragon with poles. The dragon’s body undulates gracefully as it “comes to life” through the co-ordinated movements of the performers where it weaves it’s way through the crowd bring an authentic Chinese tradition to your special occasion.

For added wow factor our Chinese Dragons can be accompanied by our Chinese Lions and musicians to create a highly visual display. They are also fitted with bright LED lights which make them suitable for festival of light events as well as daytime events.
