1920s themed entertainment at M&S Bank Arena
Who is M&S Bank Arena and what is ‘Premium’?
M&S Bank Arena is one of Liverpool’s crown jewels, hosting world-class performances and glittering events along the city’s famous waterfront. Its newest venture, ‘Premium’, is epitome of luxury hospitality.
Inspired by 1920s themed entertainment and the glamour of vintage private members’ clubs, these suites are a dazzling blend of art deco chic and modern sophistication. With walnut-panelled walls, gilded details, and rich jewelled tones, every corner shimmers with old-school opulence. Guests can sip premium drinks, enjoy live entertainment, and relax in plush surroundings that are truly the cat’s pyjamas.
Whether you’re settling into the Sodexo Live! Lounge or raising a glass with friends, Premium promises a night that sparkles brighter than Gatsby’s chandeliers.
Stage One: The Brief
Our brief was to deliver 1920s themed entertainment that matched the arena’s roaring 1920s flair and elevated the prestige of the launch. 250 guests, all dressed to the nines in their finest glad rags, gathered to celebrate in style.
The evening also marked the triumphant return of one of Britain’s best-loved comedians, Peter Kay. His “Better Late Than Never, Again” tour was his first in twelve years, adding even more excitement to the occasion. The entertainment needed to complement both the venue’s art deco setting and the buzz surrounding Kay’s comeback.

Stage Two: The Acts
Even though it was raining outside our amazing performers providing 1920s themed entertainment pulled out all the stops to create a speakeasy spectacle worth remembering. Outside, our daring fire performer lit up the drizzle, her flames flickering like champagne bubbles in the night. Our juggler in a sharp tuxedo wowed guests by manipulated champagne bottles with effortless grace.
On the red carpet, our fake paparazzi mingled with real photographers, showering VIPs with attention, cheeky banter and questions. To complete the scene, our sparkling flapper girl duo greeted arrivals, posed for photos, and set the tone for a night bursting with glitz and glamour.

Stage Three: The Reception
Guests were whisked straight into the spirit of the Roaring Twenties, with out 1920s themed entertainment, indulging in fine food, flowing drinks, and spectacular views. Peter Kay’s performance was the icing on the cake, leaving everyone in stitches with his iconic wit.
Attendees couldn’t stop raving about the décor, attention to detail, and the seamless mix of nostalgia and modern luxury. The Guide Liverpool captured every dazzling moment in style, producing a video that perfectly encapsulated the night’s sparkle.

“The night was great, despite the horrific weather, the performers went down well with the guests and created an experience to remember!“
